Braxton’s paternal grandfather, Ronald Matthews, played a significant role in his life, having raised him since he was one year old. Braxton is also survived by his maternal grandparents, John and Penny Swanson, who share in the grief of his untimely passing.

A funeral service to honor Braxton’s life will be held on Friday, July 14, 2023, at 10:00 AM at the Martin-Hollis Funeral Home. Following the service, Braxton will be laid to rest in the Bardolph Cemetery, where he will find eternal peace.
