Carl Rinaldi Obituary, Death – It was a pleasure for us to be able to provide comfort care for this Veteran when he was in need, and we would like to extend our thoughts and prayers to the Rinaldi family during this difficult time.Carl Michael Rinaldi, 81, passed away on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at the Allied Services Hospice Center in Wilkes-Barre. He was a resident of Dupont. He was the son of the late Stephen Rinaldi and the late Margaret Cicchillitti Rinaldi, and he was born in Pittston on September 16, 1941.
Carl is a veteran of the United States Army and attended Dupont schools before joining the military. John Rinaldi, his brother, passed away before him. He was the last of his family members to pass away.
Surviving are daughters, Michelle Balchune, Pittston; and Leslie Ann Rinaldi, South Carolina; grandchildren, Staci Giarratano (Ross) Hughestown; and Kyla Balchune, New York; great-grandchildren, Aria and Rocco Giarratano; sister, Eleanor Babonis (Bernard), Dupont; brothers, Stephen Rinaldi (Cheryl), Pittston Twp.; and Ronald Rinaldi (Mary Ann), Dupont; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Carl was the person who kept the party going. You could rely on him to make you laugh whenever you needed a good laugh and put a smile on your face. He won the hearts of many people, and they will grieve his passing. Carl was a deeply devout man, but it was always his request that there be no funeral ceremonies or visiting hours after he passed away.
