Dana Ben Shoshan Death, Obituary – Dana Ben Shoshan, a member of the emergency medical technician team that is run by volunteers from the Galilee chapter, passed away recently. It is with a heavy feeling in our hearts that we are passing on this information to you. This morning, Dana was driving her own vehicle when she became involved in a fatal car accident. The other driver was killed.
The collision happened in the region surrounding Safed’s southern entrance, which is also sometimes spelt with the letter “z” as in “Tzfat.” Dana, a wife and mother of four, was travelling home after working a night shift as a nurse at a hospital when she was involved in an automobile accident that left her with life-threatening injuries.
The accident occurred while Dana was a passenger in the vehicle. The collision took place while Dana was travelling home after the completion of her shift. She succumbed to the effects of her injuries and passed away at some point in the future.
Dana was a participant in the women’s initiative that Adele Sandberg and Joel Sandberg, Dana’s spouse and husband, respectively, initiated. In addition to her volunteer work as an emergency medical technician, she was employed in the field of midwifery.
The leadership of United Hatzalah as well as its volunteers are deeply saddened by her departure and are offering Dana’s family their unwavering support at this difficult time. Her death has left a hole in each and every one of their hearts.
Her family is receiving assistance from the Psychotrauma and Crisis Response Unit in order to help them get through this challenging period. This assistance is being provided to her husband as well as the rest of her family. Her husband is also helping with the organization.
