Darrin Hartness Obituary, Death – The transition from death to life has been completed for Dad. He began rapidly deteriorating on Monday evening before going to bed, and he slept sweetly yesterday while we conversed with him, read to him, worshiped with him, and continually reminded him of what an outstanding human being he is. He began rapidly deteriorating on Monday evening before going to bed. Everyone who has ever paid him a visit has nothing but good things to say about the genuine impact he has had on their lives.
We are aware that the goodness and love that he exhibited came straight from his relationship with Jesus, and we believe that he is currently reveling in the utmost happiness and tranquility in His presence. The Lord heard our prayers throughout the day yesterday for a peaceful passage, and he granted our request. Dad has been completely cured of his cancer and has passed away while he was surrounded by his family. I want to express my gratitude to each and every one of you for your unending love, support, prayers, and messages of encouragement.
While we are grieving, we are certain that Dad would want us to do so with the knowledge that God’s promises will be fulfilled and that we shall see one other once more in eternity. In the days leading up to his death, his overarching hope was that the gospel would be preached: Christ has triumphed over death, and he invites us into abundant life with him both here on earth and in the beyond.
In the coming days, we ask that you respect our need for privacy and intend to provide information on a celebration of life after it has been planned. In lieu of meals and flowers, the family requests that you feel free to share your memories with us or make donations to any of the organizations listed below:
