David, a former member of a collective known as Brothers of the Wheel, used to spend a lot of his leisure time cruising about on a motorcycle. In addition to that, he enjoyed riding rail buggies and off-road, tending to his vegetable garden, listening to HAM radios, volunteering for charitable organizations, and working on any kind of mechanical project. But above all else, his favorite thing to do was to spend time with his family, especially with his grandchildren.
He cherished those relationships more than anything else.
