Demorie Williams Obituary, Demorie Williams Has Sadly Passed Away

Demorie Williams Death, Obituary – The victims of the mass shooting that occurred at a block party on July 4 in Shreveport, Louisiana, and resulted in 11 persons being injured and 4 deaths have been named. The four victims of the shooting were identified as Moriz Aziz, age 22, Jarike Dorsey, age 19, Demorie Williams, age 24, and Syncere Brown, age 17, according to the coroner’s office, as reported by People.

Both Aziz and Dorsey were found to be deceased at the location where the incident took place. According to Sgt. Angie Willhite of the Shreveport Police Department, Williams was sent to a local hospital after being injured. However, he succumbed to his injuries and died there later. Later, investigators discovered a fourth body, which they determined to be that of Brown, in a forested area close to the party.

According to Tabatha Taylor, a local councilwoman, the Fourth of July block party was an annual ritual in the area that had never gotten violent. Taylor reported that the party for this year took an unexpected turn shortly before midnight when a bunch of males showed up without having been invited. The investigation has led authorities to suspect that the unwanted guests were involved in a dispute with another group of guys who were attending the party prior to the shooting taking place. The investigation has revealed that there were many shooters.

As of the evening of Thursday, July 6th, there is still one individual who is in critical condition. There have been no suspects apprehended in connection with the incident. Willhite stated that they do not have any suspicions at this time. “And those are the worst words that can possibly come out of my mouth.” According to the Gun Violence Archive, this particular shooting was one of at least 23 that took place throughout the course of the holiday weekend around July 4th.
