The victim of the incident has been named as Dr. Benjamin Mauck, according to Campbell Clinic. Collierville Police Chief Dale Lane stated on Tuesday that a suspect was taken into custody without any incident within five minutes of the shooting.

In August of 2012, he became an employee at the Campbell Clinic. According to his bio, he attended both Lambuth University and the University of Tennessee in Memphis, and he completed his residency at the University of Tennessee Campbell Clinic.
