Elmwood Park Shooting, Search Elmwood Park Area For Shooter Continues Teen Injured

Elmwood Park Shooting –  At around 4:30 in the afternoon, the victim was shot in the thigh on Elmwood Terrace, which is located within the Elmwood Village complex. The statement was made by Police Chief Michael Foligno on Thursday, July 13. According to the chief, he was sent to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson after he was injured.

Foligno stated that witnesses gave comprehensive descriptions of various individuals who fled the site of the shooting after the incident took place. Interviews were still being conducted, and security footage was being collected from the surrounding region. “We have a few solid leads,” stated the chief of the department. He expressed his gratitude to his fellow law enforcement officers from the neighboring towns, the Bergen County sheriff’s deputies (including a K-9 unit), and the members of the Bergen County Regional SWAT team who had all descended on the location.

In addition, a New Jersey State Police helicopter crew and the SWAT squad from Foligno rushed to the incident. Evidence was gathered by the Bergen County Sheriff’s Bureau of Criminal Identification, and the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office was made aware of the situation.
