Essence Toft Obituary, Death – The investigation that was carried out by the Peoria County Coroner Jamie Harwood led to the conclusion that the kid who unfortunately passed away on Tuesday as a consequence of drowning in a pond located near to Eureka was a girl from Washington named Essence Toft who was three years old. The findings of the inquiry were presented to the family of the deceased child.
At around five o’clock on Tuesday evening, personnel from the Eureka-Goodfield Fire and EMS departments were dispatched to the location at 1905 Eastview Circle in Eureka, where Toft had been spotted in the pond unconscious, not breathing, and without a pulse. Toft had been found in the pond after he had been reported missing for many hours. Toft had been reported missing for a significant amount of time prior to his body being discovered in the pond.
After being brought to the OSF HealthCare Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria at 10:35 p.m., a physician determined that she was no longer aware of her surroundings after reaching that facility. It had been some time since she had last been cognizant. When all of the organs have been given for donation, according to the information provided by the coroner’s office, an autopsy will be performed on the body of the deceased individual.
It is not feasible to ascertain how much time had passed before Toft was found floating in the sea before he was found. There is not even a scrap of evidence to suggest that there was any type of foul play involved, thus this cannot be considered a case of criminal activity.
