Eunice M. Silver Obituary, Eunice M. Silver Has Reportedly Passed Away

Eunice M. Silver Death, Obituary – On July 7, 2023, at the age of 89, Eunice M. (Nichols) Silver, who resided on Star Road, died away in a calm and serene manner surrounded by her devoted family. She was the daughter of Samuel Nichols and Georgianna (Boyea) Nichols, and she was born on July 17th, 1933. On November 21, 1953, Eunice tied the knot with Lloyd T. Silver in the Saint Philomena’s Church located in Churubusco. On November 28, 2016, Lloyd passed away before she did.

In addition to being a member of the Churubusco Home Bureau, Eunice was also a member of the St. Edmund’s Altar and Rosary Society, the Log Cabin Quilt Guild, and the Court Little Rose Catholic Daughters. Crafting was one of Eunice’s favorite hobbies, and she was also an accomplished gardener and quilter. Her devoted family, in addition to a large number of other people in the neighborhood, take pleasure in her stunning quilts.

Her devotion to her family came before everything else in her life. She was a loving mother of nine children, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, as well as empathetic, kind, and sympathetic individual. Her eight children, Linda (Silver) Cook and Robert Cook, Michael Silver and companion Doreen LaHaie, Sandra (Silver) Manor and Clarence Manor, Stephen Silver, Barbara (Silver) Winter and Dale Winter, Patrick and Tina Silver, Lisa (Silver) Frenyea and Tom Frenyea.

Lloyd and Kim Silver; her grandchildren, Casey (Cook) Collins, Mathew Cook, Andrew Cook, Travis Myatt, David My Caydence Bell, Madyson Myatt, Mea Myatt, Branson, Lexi, and Maverick Yelle, Carson and Emalynn Myers, Beau LaBombard and Melanie LaBombard; her brother Lawrence and Norma Nichols; her sister-in-law Bernadette Nichols; her much-loved cat Tessa Mae; and a large number of nieces and nephews also survive her.

Eunice was preceded in death by her husband; her son, Richard Silver; her sister and brother-in-law, Doris (Nichols) and Norm Degon; her brothers and sister-in-laws, Clarence and Gert Nichols and Francis and Peggy Nichols; and her brother, Gerald Nichols. Doris (Nichols) and Norm Degon were Eunice’s sister and brother-in-law, respectively.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 9th, at the Rabideau Funeral Home in Ellenburg from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. On Monday, July 10th, at 11:00 a.m., a Mass of Christian Burial will be given in St. Edmund’s Church in Ellenburg. This will be followed by the burial of the deceased individual at the parish cemetery.
