On July 14, Taylor stated in an email to her readers, “It is with unbelievable sadness that I tell all of you that my dear Haley has passed away.” “I consider myself extremely fortunate to have had Haley in my life for the past 16 years. It has been a privilege and an honor for me to look after her. “If there’s one thing I can tell you, it’s that she went through a lot of pain and anguish battling this illness over the past eight years,” he went on to say. “It slowly tore her body apart.”
“The thought of her being completely healed in a body in heaven where there is no pain and no scars makes me so incredibly happy for her, but it makes me feel so overwhelmingly sad that I won’t be there to see it,” the person said.
