Jack Brittain Obituary, Funeral Notice – It is with profound sadness that the St. Mary’s Catholic School Alumni community mourns the loss of Jack “Britt” Oliver Brittain, Jr. Our hearts and prayers go out to the Brittain family during this difficult time. The family has released a statement to inform us of the passing of their beloved brother.
Jack “Britt” Oliver Brittain, Jr. was a cherished individual who was deeply loved by all who knew him. He brought joy and happiness into the lives of those around him, and now he continues to share his love in the realms of Heaven. The loss of such a remarkable person is felt deeply by the St. Mary’s Catholic School community, and we offer our sincerest condolences to the Brittain family.
In honor of Britt’s life and the impact he made, the family has organized a day of love, prayer, and celebration, which will take place on Thursday, July 13, 2023, in Natchitoches, Louisiana. The schedule of events is as follows:
– From 9:00 am to 11:00 am, there will be a visitation at Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home, located at 848 Keyser Avenue. This will provide an opportunity for friends, family, and the community to pay their respects and offer their condolences to the Brittain family.
– At 11:30 am, a Celebration of Life will be held at The Minor Basilica of the Immaculate Conception Church, located at 145 Second Street. This service will serve as a tribute to Britt’s life, where memories will be shared, and his impact will be celebrated.
– Following the church service, a gathering will be held at Cissy’s, the house of Marguerite “Cissy” Brittain Picou, Britt’s sister. Located at 907 Parkway Drive, this gathering will be an opportunity for everyone to come together, show support to the family, and share love, food, and fellowship.
It is important for the St. Mary’s Catholic School Alumni community to come together during this time of loss and offer our support to the Brittain family. We encourage all alumni and friends to join us at any or all of the scheduled events to honor Britt’s life and provide comfort to his loved ones.
