Jackie Passauer Obituary, Death – On Thursday, July 13, 2023, Jackie (Bechinski) Passauer, age 47, of Valparaiso, Indiana, died away as she was surrounded by her devoted family. She was the daughter of Larry and Betty L. (Younggreen) Bechinski and was born on March 10, 1976 in LaPorte, Indiana. Her mother’s maiden name was Younggreen. Jackie, who obtained her bachelor’s degree from Ivy Tech and worked for Evaluation Services as a research and appraiser assistant after graduating from LaCrosse High School in 1994, is a graduate of that school.
She was considered to be full of life and loved having a good time. She was a member of the Valley Baptist Church in Valparaiso. Her priority in life was her family, and she considered even her son’s friends to be part of the clan. All of Jackie’s loved ones, as well as those whose lives she had an impact on, will miss her tremendously. On May 21, 2016, Jackie married Joe Passauer, who survives along with her father, Larry Bechinski; children, Caleb and Cade Howard, and Grant Passauer; siblings, Rich Bechinski, Becky (Reggie) Lockett,
Brenda (Wayne) Timm, Lori (Paul) Sikora, and Lisa (Daron) Bruder; nieces and nephews, Lauren, Wittlee, Ashley, Zack, Haley, Jessica, and McKenzie; and great-nieces and nephews, Deklin, Kyleigh, Wyatt, Liam, Aylah, Hayden, Kamryn, Ava, Cole, Pomona, and Isla. Her mother, Betty Bechinski, passed away before she did, taking her legacy with her. On Thursday, July 20, 2023, visitation will be held from three to seven o’clock in the evening at the Moeller Funeral Home, which is located at 104 Roosevelt Road in Valparaiso. The funeral service will begin at seven o’clock in the evening. On Friday, July 21, at 10:00 a.m., there will be a service held at the graveside in the Oak Grove Cemetery located in LaCrosse. Donations in memory of the deceased should be made to Dunes Hospice in lieu of flowers.
