James Cantella Death, Obituary – Peter Cantella, who was 63 years old and had spent his whole life in Owego, passed away on June 4, 2003 at the Cape Canaveral Hospital. He had been a resident of Owego his entire life. At the time, he was employed at the Florida Institute of Technology (FIT) in the capacity of a computer science instructor. He was brought there in a vehicle that came straight from his place of employment.
Jim attended St. John Fisher College, where he acquired his degree, after which he went on to work at IBM for a total of over 36 years following the completion of his secondary schooling in Rochester, New York, where he received his diploma. After he had lain down for a bit and gotten some rest, he made the decision to get back into schooling and finally completed his master’s degree in computer information systems in the year 2002.
Jim is survived by his mother, Christine L. Cantella, who currently resides in Rochester, New York; his fiancee, Rebecca M. Siberts, who currently resides in Cocoa Beach; his son and daughter-in-law, James and Maria Cantella of Holley, New York; his daughter and son-in-law, Lisa Cantella and Dan Reeder of Syracuse, New York; his son, Michael Cantella, who currently resides in Rochester, New York; and his son and daughter It was she who arrived at the restaurant first.
