Tanya received her diploma from Prairie View, which is located in La Cygne, Kansas. On March 9, 1990, in Marysville, Kansas, Jim and Tana were joined together in the holy institution of marriage. They had a beautiful life together throughout the entire span of their childrearing years of 35 years. They handled materials as material handlers at the Kohl’s Distribution Center. You could always find the two of them together doting on their grandchildren, unless they were both out working in the yard at the same time.

Tanya took great pleasure in tending to plants and acting as the head chef in the kitchen. They were both unstoppable and inseparable, which meant that together they could conquer anything and achieve anything they set their minds to. Jim and Tanya possessed a love that was more powerful than life itself. Jim and Tanya are survived by their two children, James Marlin Dowd and wife, Teree of Odessa, Missouri, and Kristopher Chauncey Dowd and Fiancé, Kaytee Hudnall of Odessa,

Missouri; their four grandchildren, Maleeya Dowd, Ayla Dowd, Chauncey Dowd, and Madalynne Dowd; and a large number of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. In addition, Jim is survived by one sister, Christina Dowd, who resides in Kansas, as well as one brother, Kristopher Dowd, who also resides in Kansas. Tanya is also survived by her two brothers, Jacob and Dexter Klug, as well as her two sisters, Melissa Stelzer and Leslee Gibson, all of Princeton, Kansas, and Leslee Gibson and her husband Chad, of Oak Grove, Missouri.
