Her departure has left a void in our hearts as we remember her as a beautiful soul who lived life on her own terms. She possessed an innate understanding of how to truly live and appreciate the world around her.
Janice’s warm and affectionate nature was evident in her role as a fine purveyor of hugs. She recognized and cherished the value of a genuine and heartfelt embrace, bringing comfort and joy to those fortunate enough to receive one from her. When Janice expressed her happiness to see you, her sincerity was undeniable.
In 2019, Janice joined Palmer’s Day Program after retiring from her previous work at a workshop. Prior to that, she lived and worked independently within her community, demonstrating her self-reliance and determination. Her transition to the day program allowed her to continue her journey surrounded by a supportive community that appreciated and valued her presence.
Janice’s passing has left a void in our lives, and we will deeply miss our visits with her.
