The day will commence with a poignant flower ceremony at 10:00 a.m., which will take place outside of Jupiter Inlet. We kindly request that you arrive at 9:30 a.m. and meet behind the US1 bridge. There, a gentleman will be distributing flowers to each boat. As a way of ensuring a unified experience, we encourage you to tune into Channel 69 on your VHF radio. This symbolic gesture of scattering flowers onto the water will serve as a beautiful tribute to Jimi, reflecting his love for nature and the serenity he found in the sea.
Following the conclusion of the flower ceremony, we extend a warm invitation for you to join us at the Hurst residence at 11:30 a.m. This gathering will provide an opportunity for us to continue celebrating Jimi’s life, sharing cherished memories, engaging in heartfelt conversations, and finding solace in the company of one another.
