John Fowley Obituary, John Fowley Has Reportedly Passed Away

John Fowley Death, Obituary – Mr. John D. (Dennis), Millington, Michigan. Mr. John D. (Dennis) Foley, who resided in Millington, Tennessee, passed away in a calm and serene manner on Friday, July 11, 2003, at his home in Millington, with his family at his side. He was 82 years old. The 29th of August, 1920 found John, the son of John W. and Eileen (O’Leary) Foley, being born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, in the country of Canada.

He was a young boy of ten years old when his family moved to the Millington region. He began his career in agriculture at an early age and has been the owner and operator of JVJ Farms for more than 60 years. Additionally, John was a highly active member of the Farm Bureau. On March 31st, 1940, John tied the knot with Miss Gertrude Forsyth. They recently celebrated their 63rd year together as a married couple.

John cherished spending quality time with his family and frequently exhorted others to do the same. John is survived by his family, which includes his wife, Mrs. Gertrude Foley of Millington, Michigan; his children, John L. and Autumn Foley of Millington, Michigan; Sharon and John Stephens of Oriskany Falls, New York; Shirley and Wayne Graham of Birch Run, Michigan; Sondra Foley of Flushing, Michigan; Nancy and Russ Bullen of San Diego, California; Joel and Ronnie Foley of Ravenswood, West Virginia; Michael D. and Gloria Foley, Vernon Fo Brother Neil, sister Shelia Martinson, and brothers Gordon and Gerald passed away before John.

John was the last of his siblings to pass away. On Sunday, visitors are welcome to stop by the Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington between the hours of 1:00 and 4:00 p.m., as well as in the evening between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m., and also on Monday between 11:00 a.m. and the start time of the services. The Foley family will also receive visitors on Monday from 11:00 a.m. until the start time of the services. On Monday, July 14, 2003, at one o’clock in the afternoon, funeral services for John will be held at the Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington.

The burial will take place at the Millington Township Cemetery immediately after the ceremonies. Pastor James Brunner will officiate the services. If you would like to make a donation in John’s memory, his family has asked that you consider doing so to a charity of your choosing.

Alternatively, as John would always tell his friends and family, “Spend a day with your family” is an appropriate way to honor his memory. Hanlin Funeral Home, located in Millington, has been entrusted with the responsibility of making funeral preparations.
