Jonathon Haselhorst Obituary, Jonathon Haselhorst Funeral Notice

Jonathon Haselhorst Obituary, Death – Jonathon Gary Haselhorst, a devoted husband, father, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and nephew, passed away on the morning of July 9, 2023, at the age of 42. His funeral was held that afternoon. In addition to that, he was a loyal friend, cousin, and nephew. During the time that we were having this conversation, Jon was working for the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis in the capacity of a security systems engineer. While he was still a child and living in O’Fallon, he attended St. Clare Grade School. This was at the time that he was attending Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE) to finish off the final requirements for his bachelor’s degree.

Jon was an exceptionally skilled athlete who also possessed a deep-seated enthusiasm for competition. When he was younger, he took part in select baseball and soccer leagues. However, he leaned more toward soccer throughout his time in college and more recently in the “Over 40” league, where he eventually became a well-respected coach. When he was younger, he played in select baseball and soccer leagues. Not only with his own children, but also with a big number of aspiring “soccer studs” who were a part of Metro Alliance FC, Jon had a wonderful experience serving as a mentor.

Jon took great pleasure in the tenacity displayed by the Kentucky Wildcats basketball team, the smooth jams performed by The Dave Matthews Band, and the fervor surrounding the Kentucky Derby. He is survived by his wife Angela, nee Smith, Haselhorst of O’Fallon, whom he married on June 19, 2010; his children Belle Loretta, Rose Catherine, and August “Gus” William; his parents Gary and Peggy Haselhorst; brother Jason Haselhorst; sister Jen (Micah) Derickson; nieces and nephews Dominic, Audrey, Christopher, Hunter, Cambria, and Taegan; father His boyhood friends, schoolmates, and teammates were collectively known to as the “O’Fallon Boys” and the “Belleville Boys.” Additionally, several of his cousins are still living, including one particular cousin of his named Bryan Gregorich.
