Juan Vasquez-Rodriguez Obituary, Death – The identity of the three people who were killed on Wednesday morning in Illinois after a Greyhound bus crashed with three heavy rigs that were parked outside of a rest stop have been made public by the authorities. The accident occurred in Illinois. Juan E. Vasquez-Rodriguez, 34, was identified as a victim from Passaic, New Jersey; Buford Pena, 71, was identified as a victim from Supai, Arizona; and Bradley L. Donovan, 47, was identified as a victim from Springfield, Illinois. The Coroner’s Office for Madison County has kindly given us with this information.
The findings of the office of the medical examiner indicate that all three individuals suffered a range of injuries that contributed to their death. These injuries included damage to the head, abdomen, and thoracic region. The bus crashed with three tractor-trailers that were stopped on the shoulder of Interstate 70, which resulted in at least 14 other individuals being hurt as a result of the accident. The accident occurred after the bus collided with the tractor-trailers. Despite the fact that it was only a few miles away from its final destination, the passenger bus that was headed to Indianapolis had not yet arrived at the Greyhound station that was located in the middle of downtown St. Louis as it had been scheduled to do so.
The investigation into what caused the crash is still in its early stages, and the authorities are still gathering information. According to the findings of the office of the coroner, an additional routine toxicological test must be carried out before it will be possible to ascertain the official cause of death for any of the three people who passed away. The National Transportation Safety Board and the Illinois State Police are responsible for conducting the investigation respectively at this time.
