Justin Hoskins Obituary, Death – Justin Hoskins, a beloved member of the community, passed away unexpectedly on June 12, 2023, in Danville, Kentucky, leaving behind a profound sense of loss among his family and friends. Born on January 25, 1990, in Stanford, Kentucky, Justin was the son of Kerry Harold and Sarah Alta Howard Hoskins of Danville. He was 33 years old at the time of his passing.
Justin dedicated his professional life to the restaurant industry, where he worked diligently to serve others. Outside of work, he found solace and joy in fishing, a cherished pastime that allowed him to connect with nature and unwind from the demands of daily life.
In addition to his parents, Justin is survived by his adored son, Brycen Clay Hoskins of Stanford, who now faces the immense void left by his father’s untimely passing. Justin also leaves behind his two brothers, Jason Hoskins (Amber) of Stanford and Kerry Foley of McKinney, Kentucky, as well as his sister, Jassmine Richards (Cody) of Stanford.
Justin’s nephews, Kaleb Foley, Kobe Foley, Jagger Hoskins, Tilden Richards, and Colter Richards, held a special place in his heart, as did his nieces, Kaylee Foley, Kayslee Foley, and Ava Hoskins. Their lives were touched by Justin’s presence and will forever bear the imprint of his love and guidance.
Justin was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Matt and Eva Howard, as well as his paternal grandparents, Harlene and Larry Johnson. Their memory will remain intertwined with Justin’s, serving as a reminder of the family bonds that shaped his life.
To honor Justin’s memory, a public visitation was held at the Green River Pentecostal Church on June 16, 2023, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Friends, family, and community members gathered to pay their respects and offer support to one another during this difficult time.
Following the visitation, a public funeral service took place at the church, officiated by Joe Tackett. For those unable to attend in person, the service was livestreamed on Justin’s memorial page on the funeral home’s website, allowing distant loved ones to participate and find solace in the shared remembrance of his life.
Justin’s final resting place is New Salem Cemetery, where he was laid to rest after the funeral service. Kerry Wayne Foley, Cody Richards, Joseph Brown, Jason Hoskins, Bernie Hoskins, Mike Griffin, Jordan Tackett, and Ricky Simmerman served as active pallbearers, carrying Justin on his final journey. Brycen Hoskins and Jassmine Richards were designated as honorary pallbearers, symbolizing their profound love and respect for their departed brother.
To commemorate Justin’s life, memorial contributions were suggested to be made to the Justin Hoskins Memorial Fund at Fox & Friend Funeral Home.
