Kevin Evatt Obituary, Whitefield Fire Department Mourns the death of Kevin Evatt

Kevin Evatt Obituary, Death – The members of the West Virginia Fire Department Family were left in a state of devastation after learning of the passing of former firefighter Kevin “Big E” Evatt. Evatt’s nickname inside the department was “Big E.” During this difficult time, everyone here at Bible Gateway is keeping the Evatt family in their thoughts and prayers. We are sorry for the hardship that they are going through. Everyone is contributing to this endeavor equally. We are saddened by the fact that they are forced to deal with such a challenging circumstance. Everyone is contributing exactly the same amount toward the overall goal of doing this task.

We got along well, and I think of him as one of the most dependable backup men I’ve ever worked with in the fire department. This despite the fact that we had a rocky start. When he left, we were without a doubt bereft of the company of a close friend. He had been with us for a while. Even though my brother Rip has been gone for a very long time, I will never forget him, and I have faith that he is currently seated in paradise, impatiently waiting for me to arrive. Even though he has been gone for a very long time, I will never forget him. In spite of the fact that a considerable period of time has gone since the last time we communicated with one another, I will never be able to forget about him.

At this time, the whole Evatt family as well as the men and women who are currently on duty at the Whitefield Fire Department are in my thoughts and prayers. I am grateful to all of you for your service to our community. We were forced to cut ties with a close friend who also happened to be the most reliable backup man I’ve ever worked with in the fire department as a result of events that were beyond our control. I’m going to sorely miss having him around. Bob and I were of the same mind when it came to how highly we thought of Kevin as an individual: he was held in extremely high regard by both of us. We ask that you pray for him and his family while they are going through this difficult period. I pray that God would bless each of you. RIP in peace
