Kotiro Te Ata Vano Death, Obituary – We are obligated to inform you, through this letter, of the passing of our kotiro Te Ata Vano. This is something that we feel forced to share with you. We do it in spite of the great anguish we feel for the situation. She passed away while a patient at Middlemore Hospital on July 11th, 2023. Her passing occurred on that day.
She is the mother of Lereau, who is also the newest member of the Vano family, in addition to being married to Ley Vano and being the wife of Ley Vano. Te Ata, the daughter of Christine and John Richards, is currently traveling through the sky with her ancestors and has been surrounded by our korowai of manaaki while she does so.
while Te Ata travels through the sky with her ancestors, our korowai of manaaki has been providing her with protection. The Richards, who are Christine and John’s offspring, are the parents of Te Ata’s child. As a token of appreciation, our ancestors were given a taonga whose worth cannot be adequately quantified.
The funeral service for Te Ata is currently taking place in the Ponsonby Seventh Day Adventist Church in the Grey Lynn area of Auckland, New Zealand. The church can be found at 66 Mackelvie Street. Tomorrow at ten in the morning, Te Ata will be transported to Pukaki Marae in order for his body to lie in state at that particular site.
On Sunday, July 16, at eleven in the morning, there will be a funeral service, and then a burial service will take place at Pukaki urup after the funeral service. On Sunday, July 16, we will have our combined worship session. Your participation in our lives is a gift, and as a consequence, the caliber of our lives will improve for the duration of our predetermined destinies as a direct result of your involvement.
It breaks our hearts to think that our ancestors no longer have access to the glorious light that you brought into the world when we consider the fact that you brought it into existence. Be aware of the fact that we cherish you and that we will always have a very special place in our hearts for you. We want you to know how much we value you.
