Mark Barnett Obituary, Death – Funeral services for Mark Barnett, who passed away at the age of 52 and was a former resident of Ada, will be held at First United Methodist Church in Ada, Oklahoma on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. The service will be presided over by Reverend David Daniel. After the service, interment will take place at Rosedale Cemetery in Ada, Oklahoma. At the Rosedale Cemetery in Ada, Oklahoma, the Tinker Air Force Honor Guard is going to provide the honors.
Mark Alan Barnett was born in Ada, Oklahoma on the 29th of December, 1969. The 25th of June, 2022 was the day he went away. Mark is a graduate of Ada High School and East Central University, both located in Ada, Oklahoma, where he also received his bachelor’s degree. He was a member of the Oklahoma National Guard, the United States Naval Reserves, and the United States Air Force Reserves throughout his time of service to our nation. Up until very recently, he held the position of Cybersecurity Information System Security Officer at Woodbury Technologies.
Mark is survived by: his parents, Janet Barnett Langston (Bob) of Ada, OK; Danny Barnett (Bankie), of Konawa, OK; grandmother, Maxine Bottenberg, of Bartlesville, OK; brother, Cody Barnett, of Moore, OK; sisters, Christi Gurley (Shane) of Prosper, TX; Lindsay Jones (Jeremy) of Prosper, TX; Lisa Cushman (Robert) of Houston, TX; and Lori Jetton (Dana) of Sapulpa, OK; multiple aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Mark and his beloved companion and close friend Connie St. Hilaire both went away at the same time. His grandfather Bob Brown, his father Kenneth C. Bottenberg, his grandparents Lewis Barnett, Charlene Barnett Brown, and Herman Brown, as well as his brother Jeffrey Lance Barnett, all passed away before him.
