Marty Giaimo Obituary, Death – Marty Giaimo, 62, of Cedar Springs, passed away on July 4, 2023 after a well fought battle with ALS. It was in 1983 when he first met Mary Jo, and on April 23, 1988, they tied the knot. Michael (Jen), Mindy (Jordan), and Tanya are the names of their three children. Over the course of more than three decades, he was employed at Rapid Packaging. Marty’s favorite things to do in his spare time were fishing, playing golf with his pals, going hunting, and spending time with his family. He devoted a significant portion of his life to spending time with his six grandchildren, Josie, Brynn, James, Ella, Olivia, and Rylan, playing the monster game.

Marty’s family is encouraging everyone to wear hunter camouflage to celebrate one of Marty’s favorite pass times. Additionally, we would like to extend our gratitude to Faith Hospice for all of their assistance and care provided to Marty, particularly to Andrea, Heather, and Monica.
In place of traditional floral tributes, the family has requested that monetary contributions be sent to the ALS Association of Grand Rapids, Michigan.
