Nicole Docksteader Death, Obituary – Even though Nicole was just my big sister for a little period of time, I consider myself extremely lucky to have had the opportunity to call her that. When I was in need of someone to talk to, she was always one of the first persons I thought of turning to for help. She never failed to pay attention to me and assist me in organizing my ideas. But most significantly, she did not waste any time in directing my attention to Christ.
Despite the challenges she faces, it has been encouraging to watch Nicole’s faith grow over the past several years. She had complete faith in God to the very end. Without a shadow of a doubt, she put her faith in Jesus to redeem her from the consequences of her actions, and the deepest longing of her heart was for the others around her to do the same. 1 Peter 1:3-7 NIV. All praise and thanksgiving be due to our Lord Jesus Christ’s God and Father!
Through the resuscitation of Jesus Christ from the grave, which he did as an act of immense kindness, he has given us a new birth into a live hope, and he has also given us an inheritance that will never perish, spoil, or fade away. This inheritance is stored up for you in heaven until the coming of the salvation that is getting ready to be revealed in the last time. Because of your faith, you are protected by the power of God until that time comes.
You have a huge cause for joy in all of this, despite the fact that for a short period you may have been had to endure sorrow due to a variety of tests. These things have occurred so that the genuineness of your faith, which is of higher value than gold, which remains unchanged even after being purified by fire, may one day result in praise, glory, and honor upon the revelation of Jesus Christ. I’ll miss you Nicole. See you in infinity and beyond.
