Noel Blessington Death, Obituary – I am saddened to inform you all that Noel Blessington passed away earlier this week. I have horrible news to share with you all. I am truly sorry for the loss you have suffered. I am sorry that I am the one that has to break the news to you, but it is necessary. After the club was created, Noel was one of the first people to sign up to become a member of it.
It was exceedingly unusual for him to miss a club meeting or event in the 27 years that had passed since he had first been a member of the organization. His membership had lasted for a total of 27 years. He didn’t miss a single working bee that was held in preparation for HuntFest, and he was always the first person to offer his aid with any and all of the tasks that needed to be completed.
He also didn’t miss a single working bee that was held in preparation for another event.
Many of us thought of Noel as being larger than life, and in our role as members, we shared this emotion. On a more personal level, we considered him as being larger than life.
He was the kind of guy who never forgot anyone’s name and made it a point to cordially greet everyone he came into contact with by firmly shaking their hand and smiled genuinely at them. He was the type of person who never forgot anyone’s name.
The first thing that he would say to you once he saw you was “How are you doing, mate?” as the very first thing he said to you. You could count on Noel to be there for you no matter the circumstances surrounding your need for assistance; you could always count on him to be there for you.
Everyone who had the privilege of calling Noel a friend will remember him with a feeling of affection and fondness in their hearts. We are keeping his family in our thoughts and prayers as they go through this difficult time.
A funeral service for Noel will be held on July 18 at 11 in the morning at the Narooma Cemetery. The event will begin at the cemetery. Presently holding the position of President of the South Coast Hunters Club is Dan Field.
