Patricia Dupuis Death, Obituary – Patricia E. (Smith) Dupuis, age 76, of Englewood, Florida, and formerly of South Hadley, Massachusetts, passed away quietly on December 27, 2014 at the residence of her family. She was born in Tewksbury, Massachusetts on March 8, 1938, and her husband of 57 years, Allan J. Dupuis, will survive her.
In addition, she is survived by her daughter Dawn and her husband Tim Midura of Ware, Massachusetts; her granddaughter Laury and her husband Jerry Couture of Port Charlotte, Florida; her daughter Lynne and her husband Fred Rochon of Chicopee, Massachusetts; and her son Tim and his wife Laura Dupuis of Chicopee, Massachusetts.
In addition, she is survived by her sister Kathleen and her husband Wesley Fox of Winston, Oregon, her six grandchildren named Kelly, Sarah, Jason, Andrea, and Angela, and her two great grandchildren named Ayva and Austin, in addition to a number of nieces and nephews.
Before relocating to Florida in 1987, Patricia and her family called Holyoke and South Hadley, Massachusetts, home. Patricia was an active parishioner at St. Patrick’s Church in South Hadley, Massachusetts, as well as at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Rotonda West, Florida, and St. Raphael Church in Englewood.
She was active in her community and volunteered in a variety of positions at each of her home churches. On Sunday, January 4th, there will be a visitation at the Beers and Story S. Hadley Funeral Home, which is located at 646 Newton Street. On Monday, January 5th, family and friends are invited to gather at St. Patrick’s church on Main Street in South Hadley beginning at 9:00 a.m. for a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m.
The interment will take place at Notre Dame Cemetery located at 63 Lyman Street in South Hadley. Alzheimer’s Foundation of America will gratefully accept donations in memory of a loved one. It was with a heavy heart that I learned of the loss of one of my former co-workers from Casino New Brunswick!
