Ray Valenzuela Obituary, Mesquite High School Tennis Coach Ray Valenzuela Has Died

Ray Valenzuela Obituary, Death –  Mr. V was revered in his roles as a PTA security guard, coworker, friend, husband, and father. He was also an exceptional educator. We are beyond devastated to learn of his passing, not just for him but also for his wife and their children. Our hearts break for them all.

Due to the fact that Ray taught at Islands for a considerable amount of time and also coached tennis at Mesquite High, he was able to make a positive impact on the lives of a significant number of students and athletes in our school system. During his thirty-year career as an educator, he had a significant influence on a large number of kids, instructors, and families. They will all miss him very much.

If you have a memory of Ray that you would want to share, the family has requested that you email it to MemoriesWithRayV@gmail.com. If you are interested in helping out with forthcoming expenses, please use the following link to contribute to Michelle Valenzuela’s Venmo account: My children, who went to Islands Elementary School and are now in high school, look back on Mr. V with a great deal of affection and fondness.

Prayers are being said for both his family and the family he has at school. This makes me feel absolutely terrible. An amazing individual who has served as a mentor and coach to my children. His loved ones are in everyone’s thoughts and prayers at this time.
