Richardson Death, Obituary – On Wednesday, the police announced that a man who they believe to be the victim of a hit-and-run accident that took place on Route 6 in Wellfleet on Monday has passed away as a consequence of his injuries. They believe the accident was caused by a vehicle that fled the scene after striking the victim’s vehicle. They are of the opinion that the occurrence occurred on Monday.
According to a news release that was sent by the Wellfleet Police Department on Tuesday, the deceased individual has been identified as a man named Jeffrey Richardson. Richardson was 59 years old at the time of his death and was originally from the town of Brookfield, Connecticut.
On Monday evening, at around 9:41 p.m., law enforcement personnel responded to the intersection of Route 6 and Nauhaught Bluffs Road, where they discovered Richardson resting on the roadside suffering from significant head injuries. Richardson had been struck by a vehicle earlier in the day.
