Rita T. Davis Death, Obituary – Rita T. Davis, who was born in Rock Island and lived to the age of 43, passed away on March 27th, 2022. She had reached the age of 43 at the time of her passing. The funeral service will take place in the Bethany Baptist Church in Moline on the morning of Saturday, April 23, 2022, at nine o’clock in the morning. The Chippiannock Cemetery will be the location of the funeral, as well as the interment that will follow.
Rita Davis’s parents are Pah Davis and Sarah (Tiah) Davis. Rita is an only child. Their daughter’s name is Rita. She began her life on this planet on November 30th, 1978, in the African nation of Liberia. On the 16th of June in 2018, she tied the knot with Stanley Zulu, and the wedding took place in South Africa. At the St. Anthony’s facility in Rock Island, where Rita resided, she was employed as a certified nursing assistant.
The persons who survived her include her husband, Stanley; her children Gregory, Saye, Sanita, Faith, and Teta; her grandchildren Nevaeh, LaKeysha, Jayceon, and Saijah; her siblings Abraham Toe and Hamilton Davis; and eleven other relatives. She was preceded in death by her father, Abraham Toe, and her mother, Hamilton Davis.
Her mother and her father both passed away before she did. The news that Rita Davis Obituary has passed away came as a shock to all of us here at the office, and it left us all in a state of profound sadness. Rita fought cancer bravely for a long time.
These days, the word “legend” is thrown around far too casually, but Rita is one person who rightfully deserves to be called such! She was a loyal member of both the football club and the boardroom over the more than 25 years that she served in those capacities.
During that period, she oversaw our very first admission into the Southern League and served as president of the club during that time. We are all going to feel terrible about her passing away.
