Sean Healey Obituary Connecticut, Golf Player has died of ALS

Sean Healey Death, Obituary – On December 2, 2021, Sean Michael Healey, age 36, from New Haven, Connecticut, died away in a calm and serene manner. He was the treasured son of Bob and Chris Healey and was born in New Haven on April 3, 1985. His birth date was April 3. Sean was the captain of the Notre Dame of West Haven High School varsity tennis team when he graduated from that school in 2003. Sean attended Notre Dame of West Haven High School.

After that, he continued his schooling at Iona College, where he received his degree in 2007. He did so with a large number of his closest friends. After graduating from high school, Sean went on to pursue a career as a charming bartender at Delaney’s Bar & Restaurant in Westville. There, he was well-liked by all of his customers, and they all knew his name. Following the tragic fire that occurred at Delaney’s in 2014, Sean went on to work as a sales representative for Dichello Distributors, where he continued to bring the same charm and personal touch to his job.

Most recently, he went back to his old place of employment at Delaney’s once it reopened, and he was right back where he belonged: making people laugh and pouring drinks as New Haven’s 33rd best bartender. Sean was an avid fan of all sports, but his favorite pastimes included watching the Broncos with his brother Todd and traveling to Montreal every year with his brother Ryan and their close friends.

His other interest was golf, and he never missed a chance to tee off with his pals or compete in a competition for a good cause. Golf was his lifelong love. In addition to sports, Sean enjoyed going to the casino with his family or friends. However, “Brothers Night” was Sean’s favorite way to spend time with his buddies, and he never passed up the chance to have one. He believed that every moment spent with his brothers should be treated as a memorable occasion.

He made the most of each day and was there for his family and friends if they had a problem; “Everyday was a new day, a new adventure.” Sean is survived by his brother, Ryan Healey (Patty), of South Windsor, and his brother, Todd Healey, of New Haven; furthermore, his niece, Kelsey, and nephew, Tommy, whom he loved very dearly, as well as many other uncles, aunts, and cousins. Sean was predeceased by his parents, Bob and Chris.

His adored significant other, Sarah Bajda, as well as his paternal and paternal maternal grandparents, Paul and Marjorie Farren and William and Emily Healey, all passed away before he did.

The family will have visitors on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 from 3 to 7 o’clock in the evening at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, which is located at 107 Broad Street in Milford, Connecticut. The funeral and burial services will be held in private.
