Shirley Thornton Death, Obituary – Shirley Thornton, who had bravely fought off a brief illness throughout her life, has passed away after a valiant battle. Shirley Thornton was a past chairman of the Federation. She fought this illness right up until the moment she passed away. She continued to battle this condition right up until the moment she passed away. Despite the fact that we are filled with nothing but the deepest regret on our end, we are going to proceed with the sharing of this information with you. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may create. Shirley was on the LFWI Board of Trustees for a combined total of ten years,
during which time she was also elected to serve as the Federation Chairman for a combined total of four of those years. During her time on the Board, Shirley was also a member of the LFWI for a total of ten years. Shirley has been a member of the LFWI Board of Trustees for a combined total of 10 years, beginning when she initially became a member of the organization. She was loved and welcomed in return everywhere she went, and she derived a great deal of delight from participating in WIs and getting to know the people of the organizations that she visited.
It is not unreasonable to suppose that the people she encountered on the course of her travels treated her with respect and welcomed her with open arms wherever she went. Because Shirley was a person who has qualities such as kindness, elegance, and humor, we will never be able to forget that she was a person who held these characteristics because she was a person who owned these qualities. She was a person who held these characteristics because she was a person who possessed these qualities.
She will never lose the extremely special and cherished position that she will hold in any one of our hearts, and that spot will never shift or change. During this trying time, we are keeping Shirley’s family as well as all of her many friends and acquaintances in our thoughts and prayers.
