He lost away in a terrible accident, and we are compelled to tell you the news. It is unknown what caused Tuck’s passing, which occurred on July 8, 2023, at approximately 7:25 o’clock in the evening, but his life was cut tragically short. Tuck was off-duty and riding his motorbike in a rural area of Lincoln County when he was involved in a head-on collision with an intoxicated motorist traveling in the opposite direction.
The other driver was traveling in the opposite direction. When they crossed the middle line, the driver was heading in the opposite way from where they should have been. Tuck eventually made the decision to retire from the United States Army after almost forty years of duty to his country. He intends to spend the remainder of his life giving unselfish service to the people who live in his community.
Tuck has advanced his career in the public sector in the state of Missouri by serving as a police officer for Wright City, as chief of police for the city of Berger, and most recently as a deputy with the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department. He began his career in public service in Wright City. As we work through the aftermath of this sudden and unexpected death, we ask that you remember his wife Donna, his family, this chapter, and his friends in your prayers.

We would like to express our deepest gratitude to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office Team LCSO, the Troy Missouri Police Department, and the Missouri State Highway Patrol for their prompt response and professional demeanor throughout the initial response, investigation, and ongoing support in the days to come.
