When we found out that Mom had passed away unexpectedly, it took all of us by surprise and left us in a state of shock; none of us had been prepared for such dreadful news.
Her choice to depart took everyone by complete and total surprise, including herself. When they informed us that she had died away, nobody in this room was prepared for the news in the least. The devastating impact of that information was immediately apparent. Because she was unable to connect with any of her close friends in the days preceding up to her passing, we were not informed of her passing.
As a result of this, we were kept in the dark about her passing.
