Susan Spafford Death, Obituary – Susan Spaffod Turci, 57, a resident of Selbyville, Delaware, was found to have unexpectedly gone away at her home on April 22, 2018. She was born in New York, New York on June 28, 1960, and she received her high school diploma from Walter Panas High School in Cortlandt Manor, New York in the year 1978.

At Ocean Downs Casino, Sue had worked with the firm for five years when she received a promotion to the Human Resources department the previous year. She has a history of working with them as a Credit Representative and also held the position of Cage Cashier/Main Banker. Before that, Sue held the position of Office Manager at Home Mortgage Services for a total of eleven years.

She was a valuable member of the East Sussex Moose Lodge #2542 and the Women of the Moose Chapter #2204, where she served as Recorder from 2008 to 2011 and Junior Regent from 2015-2016. Her time and talents were donated to these organizations. Her children, Joseph Turci Jr. and Lisa Turci, whom she loved deeply and was very proud of, are the only ones who will carry on her legacy after her passing.

Additionally, Sue is survived by her brother, Thomas Spafford, who resides in North Carolina, as well as her lifelong friend, Tammy D’Amico Burch, who resides in Florida. Her cherished aunt and uncle, Mable and Lawrence King, as well as her loving mother, Dorothy Ball Spafford, passed away before she was born.

Sue managed to win over the affections of everyone she encountered because to the infectious beauty of her smile and the warm and kind nature of her demeanor. Those people who had the honor of being able to call her their friend, particularly those in her immediate social circle, will mourn her passing deeply.

On Sunday, July 15, 2018, from 12 noon through 3pm, there will be a Celebration of Sue’s Life held at the East Sussex Moose Lodge, which is located at Route 20 in Roxana, Delaware.
