Even though the majority of people have probably already heard the news, we thought it was essential to make it more official and let everyone know that on July 8th, our father, William “Bill” Even though the vast majority of people had most likely already been made aware of the news, we came to the conclusion that it was necessary to make it more formal and ensure that everybody was aware of that.
The formal obituary for him will be published the weekend after next, along with details regarding the memorial service that will be held to celebrate his life on the afternoon of August 18th. The memorial service will take place at the scheduled time. We would like to take advantage of this occasion to express our gratitude to everyone who has stopped by to see my father or called him over the course of the past year. By adhering to the tradition of celebrating one’s life while they are still alive, it is possible to have a peaceful passing when one’s time has come to pass.
During the course of our courageous father’s fight against his sickness, our wonderful family and friends were there for him in a significant way whenever he required their assistance. It comes as a surprise to find out how much love and respect he garnered, but at the same time, it truly isn’t something that should come as a surprise. The fact that our father was such an intelligent, creative, kind, and loving man was truly a blessing for each and every one of us. He served as a model for us to follow. How much we are going to miss having him here with us is beyond our comprehension at this point.
